Microsoft Word or the MS Word is an advanced word processor designed and developed by the Microsoft Corporation. The program is a component of the Microsoft Office, it is also available as standalone and included with the Microsoft Works Suite. The latest version of Microsoft Word are Microsoft Word 2010 for Windows and Microsoft Word 2011 for Mac. You can reformat your word document to fit in to few pages as possible. By this you can save the number of papers used, mostly when you have to take copies in plenty.

Delete all unnecessary line breaks>>

To start with, delete all unnecessary line breaks. Line breaks are places where you hit enter or also the blank space between two paragraphs. Now instead of starting a paragraph by a new line after leaving one or two blank lines, you can cut the need to leave blank lines and start in the very next line after adding a tab. That way you can distinguish that its a new paragraph.

Adjust the margins>>

You can considerably save the amount of paper used by moving each of the four margins about half an inch. Now to do this, you can look at the top of your word document where the ruler is. And to the right/ left side there should be a dark shaded area with a small pentagon marker coming at the border. You can move the pentagon’s position about half an inch into the darker area. Now repeat the same for the remaining three sides.

Adjust the font size>>

Adjusting the font size can also save much paper. If you are on a higher fornt size, always bring it to a lower size. I would suggest 11 point would be very fine.  You can save so much of space, its easy to read without difficulty as well. But never go below 11.
